This intolerable excuse for a mother is garnering sympathy from dumb-asses everywhere, thanks to certain media outlets that will remain nameless.
The woman, Amanda Kimbrough of Alabama, has been in prison for over three years after the stillbirth of her son, Timmy Wayne Kimbrough, on April 29th, 2008.
Kimbrough has been locked up in an Alabama Prison that was castigated by the Feds due to prisoner abuse.
Tutwiler Inmate 287089 claims that her son was stillborn due to the umbilical cord preceding Timmy down the birth canal, and therefore, cutting off his oxygen supply.
Timmy was born not breathing, and only survived 19 minutes outside his Mother’s wretched womb.
However, there was something else found in tests run by the hospital.
Turns out both Amanda and Timmy tested positive for Methamphetamine.
Meth is only evident in a person’s system for 3-5 days.
This means Kimbrough had very recently used meth while pregnant with the beloved baby her prison letters claim she would never think of aborting.
Kimbrough was charged with the Class A Felony of Chemical Endangerment – equivalent to that of a murder charge.
The woman who loved meth more than her first born son, was eventually sentenced to 10 years in prison, after pleading guilty to the charges against her.
The indictment reads that Kimbrough:
“..did knowingly, recklessly, or intentionally cause or permit a child, Timmy Wayne Kimbrough, to be exposed to, to ingest or inhale, or to have contact with a controlled substance, to wit: methamphetamine.”
Kimbrough’s trial and subsequent appeals have set new precedent in Alabama; precedent that states a woman is vulnerable to charges if she causes harm to her unborn child purposely.
It should be called the common sense law.
Don’t be a selfish hypocrite while carrying a precious child inside you. A child you claim to love, yet feed methamphetamine. A child who never asked to be created in the first place, but you chose to keep, knowing you had a long history of being a meth-head.
Sad to say, but this Pro-Lifer’s child would have been better off had he been aborted at the get-go.
Maybe the meth didn’t cause the prolapse of the umbilical cord.
It is, however, likely that the meth did contribute to Kimbrough going into early labor at 25 weeks of gestation, not to mention millions of tiny brain cells that were lost when her son ingested the deadly chemicals she fed him.
Kimbrough was released from prison about a week ago and is now free to get knocked up again. Only this time, she will pass up the opportunity to snort meth with her baby.
At least she took full responsibility for the death of Timmy in a statement released to The Guardian:
“I continue to give a lot to God and just hang on. I know I made a mistake, a fatal one I have to live with every day. I just take it one day at a time. God has a reason for everything even if I don’t know.”
What a thoughtful soul.
However, three years was not enough jail-time for the death of a child at the hands of his selfish mother.
I believe you have proven yourself, Amanda.
