By now we’re sure you’re probably all too familiar with Gilberton, PA Police Chief Mark Kessler. Kessler gained notoriety on social media sites for his ranting, violent videos that show Kessler discharging various firearms into practice targets. One such video’s target was a “scary clown” he named “Nancy Pelosi” in honor of former Speaker of the House and Democrat Nancy Pelosi. Kessler caused outrage across the country as people were shocked to see him making such open and hostile threats against Pelosi and other “libtards” as he calls them, and was suspended by the city for his boorish and outright dangerous behavior.
Apparently Kessler’s little feelings were hurt by the suspension because he’s uploaded a new YouTube video in which he fires a semi-automatic gun at targets he dubs “Eric.” It’s presumed he meant Eric Boxer, vice-president of the Gilberton Borough Council. Boxer is the man that Kessler most blames for instigating the investigation into Kessler’s abusive and deranged behavior. The suspended and frankly disgraces chief’s suspension is up this week, and it’s being alleged that this newest video is an attempt by Kessler to intimidate city officials into leaving him alone.
Clearly Kessler is a danger to society at this point. It’s hard to imagine someone like him having the mental capacity to lead a police force in an honest and forthright way. What happens if a conservative person in his town makes up false allegations against one of the “libtards” in his town, as Kessler puts it? Can he really be trusted to be fair and honest? Can we really be trusted to protect anyone? There are plenty of Second Amendment rights advocates that understand making menacing and threatening videos doesn’t advance their cause; it only hurts it.
