Kelly Lauren is a 54-year old transgender woman from Chicago.
She’s been working as a drag queen for an impressive 37 years, and by the looks of her, she is all woman.
Which is why the recent photo she posted to Facebook regarding the Houston HERO bill failing to pass, is so amazing.
The proposition would have protected transgender people from criminal prosecution for using the bathroom for the gender which they identify.
Lauren has this to say about the perfect timing of her post:
“I am 54 years old and have been performing for about 37 years as a drag entertainer. I am transgender. The picture was taken several months ago but I reposted it when all of this nonsense happened. All I have to say is that I would get in way more trouble in the men’s room than I could ever possibly in the women’s restroom because I am THAT kind of girl! [laughs]”
Conservatives across the nation refuse to back legislation that would allow transgender people to use the restroom labeled for the opposite sex.
As a female, I wouldn’t feel safe sharing a restroom with men, so why is it fair that trans women should have to?
They say that allowing a transgender woman to use the “ladies room” also means that Bob from down the street can do the same thing.
Scare ads, like the one below, were created showing child molesters in the wrong bathrooms, and transgender women looking like men in a dress trying to enter a women’s locker room.
Lauren’s picture makes a very valid point that transgender women do not look like men in dresses.
They are beautiful and feminine, and usually very well put together.
So the fact that straight women actually want these amazing trans women in bathrooms with their husband’s exposed junk, is utterly f*cking hilarious.
Let’s not forget all the conservative straight men rallying for trans women to stay in “Men’s” bathrooms against their will either!
