Twenty year old Kayla Mendoza of Hallandale Beach, Florida loves weed. And alcohol. And driving.
She chose to mix at least two of the three just before she pulled onto the Sawgrass Expressway, heading in the wrong direction. Mendoza, or “Pothead Princess,” as she calls herself on Twitter, crashed head-on into a Toyota Camry carrying Marisa Catronio and Kaitlyn Ferrante of Coral Springs. The two were on their way home from celebrating Catronio’s 21st birthday.
Catronio died at the scene and Ferrante passed on this morning.
Just hours before the accident, Mendoza tweeted that she was “2 drunk 2 care.”
Of course, this isn’t the first irresponsible decision the Pothead Princess has made. A brief perusal of her Twitter profile, @highimkaila, shows a long and established history of alcohol abuse, and a pattern of not knowing when the right time to smoke a blunt is:
It’s OK, though! At least she’s a good student!
OK, OK. She’s not even responsible enough to own a bong, let alone drive a car.
And she gives cannabis smokers a bad name:
Seriously, the girl looks for weed on Twitter. Who does that?
She also bitches about the quality on Twitter.
I mean, this is just sad. Priorities.
A day before the accident, she Tweeted that she….oh, just read it:
That’s right. She can’t deal with people who don’t have their “shit together.”
No formal charges have been filed yet.
